Questions & Answers

Here are some answers to common questions.

Orthros at 8:45am and Divine Liturgy at 10:00am

Orthros is part of the daily cycle of prayers in the morning. It is a prayer service that focuses on Resurrectional themes, saints and feasts that are in the calendar, and seasonal themes.

Divine Liturgy is the service focused on the reading of the Scriptures and the preparation and participation in Holy Communion.

Our services are open to all visitors and anyone interested in joining us. Holy Communion is offered only to Orthodox Christians, but the Antidoron (the bread offered by the priest at the end of the service) is not Holy Communion and is offered to all.

If you're visiting for the first time, make sure to introduce yourself to the priest before you leave!

There are a lot of resources on the internet that will tell you about how you become Orthodox, but it truly begins with making a connection with Christ through your local parish. Come join us on Sunday, and introduce yourself to the priest.

Alternatively, call the office and set up an appointment. We would love to see you and to get to know you, and the path to becoming Orthodox is different for every person.
